Idea Description

The global medical tourism market size was 11.56 $ billion in 2020 and, based on studies, is expected to grow by 2028 to be 53.51 $ billion.

The idea is to create a user application and a web-based app for partner hospitals and medical centres.

The Shafi application works on a B2B mechanism, as it collects all the data of health institutions and pharmacies in one platform. The application allows the user to sort the data so that it is easy for him to reach the required institution.

 

We also know that there are many health institutions, hospitals, clinics and pharmacies at the local level. However, the user faces difficulty determining the best proportion to the state of health and the available budget.

The application provides all the necessary data for each institution, starting from the medical staff and ending with the prices. Shafi application aspires to provide the user with all the options available at the local and global levels.

Not only this, but the application allows the mechanism of booking appointments in the selected institution or requesting a specific treatment based on the prescription, in addition to obtaining electronic consultation based on the medical reports provided by the patient.

Challenges The Idea is Addressing

As the application will deal with critical information like the medical report and customer details, the main challenge is to fit the idea with global standers and regulations like (HIPAA). As per TRA's request, storing the clients' information should be stored locally, which could be challenging. Community awareness regarding digital transformation in the health sector will not be easy.

Benefits of Idea Implementation

1- community benefits: when they decide to go on medical travel, most minors will know more about the institution and will give them a chance to meet them before and check if there is a chance of treatment based on the comments and reviews within the application. 2- health sectors: most health institutions try to be the best in this field; some have propaganda but not the quality of medication and treatments, and some are unknown but have the quality and the capability of treatments. This application will give an equal chance to show their ability to the clients. 3- Touris sectors: This app will refresh tourism at the international level. 4- Research sectors: This project will handle many records that can be used to improve medical solutions, provide statical numbers, and for better treatments.
