Expertise Brief

Maria AL Amri, a PhD Student, completed her higher Diploma in Internet & E-Security, BSc Network and Master in Computer Security & Forensics in 2012, 2014 and 2018, respectively, in Oman & UK. She has over ten years of experience in different areas and education. 

Maria believes in education as endlessness process; she participated in several government conferences, workshops and training like the 4th National Cyber Drill, CISM training, The Regional Cyber Security Summit, Train the trainer program on cyber security, business continuity, cyber resilience and Ethical hacker. Ms Maria is a Cyber Security Ambassador in the Ministry of Technology and Communication. Her latest Research participates in the Usability Evaluation of Educational Games and Introducing New HCI Design based educational games for Omani Students that fit Omani Culture. She is a lecturer in The Faculty of Computing Science at Gulf College.
