Idea Description
In smart cities, we need light vehicles that produce no carbon emissions and mobilize around the city without the need to wait for a taxi or go to rental shops.
Rekab™ is a vehicle sharing service application that allows you to rent a vehicle such as e-scooter or e-bike from anywhere in the city and you can simply leave at your destination. The application allows you to view the distributed vehicles,check their status and with a barcode scan you can ride for a time you specify.
Challenges The Idea is Addressing
1 - Taxies and public transportation are not available anywhere and waiting time may take longer than expected. 2 - Heavy vehicles are not good option for smart cities since they require more infrastructure and reduce human hygiene. 3 - Owning a vehicle and maintaining it is expensive. 4 - Visitors need a quick ride to explore the city on their own. 5 - Rented vehicle is charged per full day regardless of usage time.
Benefits of Idea Implementation
1 - Available for ride anytime. 2 - Ride from anywhere and no need to return to the starting location. 3 - It is the implementation of green life. 4 - Use shared vehicles with maintaining privacy. 5 - Reduce time-lag as ordinary rental require a full day rent and return to office. 6 - Secure and easy to access.
