I would like to go through the subject ,  After 7 years working in travel & tourism  in Oman 15 around Europe and middle east let me brief the main factors regarding Sohar Tourism Development Plan

Its obvious for everyone that sohar have a very rich history and its verry essential city which made Oman history  , we Do have touristic places yes and have attractive site for investors true , buts my message is from a different perspective

• All respect to sohar travel agencies who prefer to work in ticketing but in reality I couldn’t believe that till I sae that we received too many euroepan come to visit sohar individually and they was looking for guidance for the touristic site

So My Idea Is Simple To create National Branding for Sohar City even the substructure or travel agencies not interested but we are going to create the Touristic Demand which will improve all related to that

We have a very great change ( connected Railway between abu Dhabi /Sohar ) we need to use that opportunity as they do to tell and show every one what is sohar

• Please let me tell small story “ when we where studying fundamentals of tourism we found that Dubai made a very cleave marketing plan which is the placed Burj Al arab Photos in each place around the world and in that time they had very less attractive sites but they made everyone ask where is that place especially in Eupora Countries and from that beginning they start

So finally I will like to share how we can apply what am try to explain “ Create Local /
National Branding identity for the city which will help  and create and make sohar in the touristic Map
