Idea Description

One of the problems most of Oman's youth and adults face today is owning their own house in order to have a comfortable and stable life. This anxiety definitely kills everyone's peace of mind and comfort and often leads to an unfortunate ending if the issue escalates due to unstable living. For example, some youth wait too long to get married just to make sure that they first secure a house, and then they decide to get married, which usually takes too long to establish a family, or in the worst cases, some get married first and soon realize that they need a place they own rather than paying rent monthly. Hence, I've come up with an idea to create an application (Oman Youth Real Estate Association) that enables or may solve this social issue. The idea that I came up with is to create an application with strong financial literacy and management with trusted parties as investors (private or public sectors) that will solve this problem by funding the youth a certain amount of money with a fixed percentage for the usage and operation of the application. An application that only functions in real estate. This application may allow people to register and upload their attested documents and information (only for Omani citizens).

Challenges The Idea is Addressing

- To gain people's trust. - Finding investors. - Needs marketing. - Finding audience (As registers). - Government approval. - Payment commitment (especially for those who work in the weak private sector due to unexpected discharge or contract termination)

Benefits of Idea Implementation

- Secure people's lives. - Avoid taking loans from banks, which include high interest. - Fixed amount of payment without interest. - Easy access through the application. - Optional monthly fixed payment.
