Idea Description

Do you agree that people with disabilities, the elderly, and children are not given the chance to participate in sports activities locally and internationally? And why?

The goal of this idea is to involve people with disabilities, the elderly, and children in different sports activities. There will be a collaboration between the health sector and the Ministry of Sport to provide special gyms and clubs for those people which will be designed according to their needs and health situations. Thus, they can participate in competitions locally and internationally.  

Challenges The Idea is Addressing

People with disabilities, the elderly, and children are not given the chance to participate in sports activities and this can destroy their emotions as well as their heath. In other words, there is no gyms and clubs for those people in Oman.

Benefits of Idea Implementation

1. Making those people known locally and internationally. 2. Increasing/showing the support that our country is providing for those people. 3. Increasing social connection with those people. 4. Giving them the right to be part of society.
