Rekab™ is a transportation and vehicle sharing service application which will evolve the concept of transportation by integrating all ride solutions to the citizens in one platform.

With Rekab™, you can explore all rides around the city and book from any service provider. The app will allow every riding service provider to participate as customers and they will be charged a small commission per booking.

The app will improve the efficiency of transportation by collecting data of all participated vehicles and analyze them using AI. Then, provide forecasting and predicting solutions to transportation companies including high demand timings and best route options.

The app will also include the latest technologies in transportation such as; renting cars by yourself from the airport or the mall. In addition, we will introduce micro-rides like e-scooters & e-bikes for direct booking without the need for physical counters.

Furthermore, the app is going to expand geographically from local market to cover more areas by partnering with more transportation companies.

1 – There are around 8 apps for booking taxi in Oman working individually. Therefore, they have less customers as they are divided for each app. 2 – Booking is hard because each app has its own taxis and it is rare to find taxi available nearby. 3 – Traditional rented vehicle is charged per full day regardless of usage time and parked at car rental venue and booked through the counter. 4 – citizens need quick light rides in large facilities & parks like e-scooters where cars are not allowed. 5 – In the malls, old people need to give their personal ID to the counter to rent e-wheelchair.

1 – The user can view taxies and busses of all service providers available for booking in one map which will make booking fast, easy and more competitive and will reduce the waiting time for a taxi. 2- Taxies will be exposed to a bigger number of customers which is more beneficial for the taxi drivers and thus for the taxi apps. 3 - Provide car rentals to book and ride on your own that will be charged per minute which is more beneficial to the user. 4 - Enhancing micro-ride concept in the community by introducing services such as e-scooter and e-bike all the way to e-wheelchairs rental in the malls & parks.
